Trolling is what this was, I admit.  I was just so amazed at how DotD didn't suck as bad as everyone put it out to be.  Perhaps some people were expecting something bigger, and when it was just another linear adventure game, those people who put the new Spyro generation on a pedestal not knowing what it would be like immediately knocked it down as soon as the LoS displeasing content released.

In fact, I don't think I have ever put Spyro on a pedestal of sorts.  Even with YotD I was kind of embarrassed of it because my friends were starting to get into all of the "new" first person shooters that were revolutionizing video games, while I was still playing cute little rated E platformers.  Sometimes I feel my generation left the cartoon phase too soon.

But hey, pretty soon they'll come out with a new game (I hope) that'll probably be of the LOS variety (again, I hope).

One last thing: I couldn't agree with you more about the whole Sonic thing Blaze the Dragon  <_< .

Sonic Next Gen also had potential. However it's biggest downfall is the fact that it was rushed. Sega and Sonic Team rushed through making it in order to have it out in time for the Xbox 360's release. As a result, there were more glitches, more frustrating controls, horrible camera, etc. Some of the bosses were also frustrating, particularly the battles against Silver. You walk near the guy and wham, he catches you in a psychic energy field and throws you away, and you can't get out or counter. And what's worse is that if you're in the air he throws you straight up, you hit the ceiling of the area, fall, and he's right under you. Rinse, repeat, dead. Yet when you use Silver and that same move, it's ineffective against the Sonic and Shadow bosses. Contradiction much?

But I digress. The Legend of Spyro was alright. Not as good as the originals, but I'm not going to hate on either. I'm a Spyro fan in that I like it in all forms (except EtD, that was an abomination). What aggravated me most however was all the clichés in DotD. Especially a specific one that takes place just before the Burned Lands...

I remember my old sonic game we had on our old Sage ((We had a Saga in the PS1 Gen XD LOL))

Well its sad to see sonic now how low he has sunk but mah if saga want to carry on milking a cow that died long ago,its there money.

They sunk so low, the Sonic games merged with the Mario Bros games.
