What I mean by DotD being a mess is this: Remember that giant golem?

Copy paste ftw? Don't even start about how that game copied LoS: The series was introduced a year before loS started. This game here was released a year BEFORE DotD.

Even though God of War looks like a crappy game, I see what you mean
regarding the Golem. The Golem is pretty much an exact "copy and paste"
of ... that big metal guy in the video.

ANB was mine.
TEN was alright but Scabs needed to die since every time he hit you you got stunned and then he would constantly fire.

How many times did we have to fight that guy only for him to Fly OFF.

You have to agree Dark cynder was a great villian...And the idea of cute little cynder had a great thought till they ruined it.

Main reason why I hate the series is they did a crappy job and just took Spyro's head along with the other characters and slapped it onto a LotR/every other fantasy series. I saw NO original things in that. Nothing. Not even changed ones. DotD was a mess, TEN was alright but Scabs needed to die since every time he hit you you got stunned and then he would constantly fire. ANB had potential and wasn't that stupid.

I admitted TLOS has a better storyline, so I'm clearly not talking trash about it -_-

Anyhow, I don't hate TLOS. I just point out the problems every now and then. If they continue TLOS, go for it, just try and make it a better game.

Oh and riverhippo - You're not the only one. TEN was by far my favourite game in the TLOS series - Regardless of the mediocre reviews it received.

I'm one of those guys that want the original Mario games back (like the 90's versions) because I'm like you LoS boycotters, but with the Mario Bro. games because I don't like the new games, but I went with the flow and deal with the new games.

So you Anti-LoS users just go with the flow and deal with it. Sure, to you, it seems like the (you know) part of the Spyro series.

Perhaps I'm easily impressed with mediocre video games.  I doubt it.

The original series had poor characterization, particularly in Ripto's Rage, and the storyline was as predictable as any platformer should be.  The fact that you use these descriptions against LoS that the original series couldn't even top LoS in allows you no valid point.

Are you suggesting that Elijah Wood's voice is whinnier than Tom Kenny's?...   the guy that does Spongebob's voice?

Rofl. Classic Spyro all had their own personality, everyone was different. Everyone in LoS, except Sparx, were all 'Blah blah blah we must save the world blah'.

And I do agree with Rukiredwolf - Tom Kenny is easily better.

And yes, on the character part, the original series DOES top LoS. Maybe not story, but characters? Seriously, that's the first time I've ever heard someone say that about the original series o_o;

I bet the movie will come back, like Starcraft II and Duke Nukem Forever.  It'll just be years from now, about the same time as Jazz Jackrabbit 3.
