Well jewelry is almost the same now for both sexes.  I don't consider wearing a ring as being feminine.  Especially since it has yet to define where the ring is actually being worn

As a gamer, you see Cynder first when she's an adult.  I think her being adult when on the dark side is more stranger than having certain tattoos on her body.  And anyway, it never really explains what caused her to lose her form when she finally changed back into her real self.  It was like she died physically, but because of her dark side influence, she was given another life.

spyro wouldn't have scars cos it's sparx that gets all the hits... at least that's what it says in the instruction booklets.

That's a good point. You expect to see him with a black eye, pierced wings, and him screaming "Why do I have to take all the hits for you?!"
