Well Riverhippo, I think that's partly due to alot of chicks who like Spyro. Haveing a strong willed female charecter activly present in the Spyro gams gives the franchise a bit more variety, and makes it a bit more compatible to the general public!

So yeah! they would be stupid if they dropped her from the games!
I mean the very last thing we saw was the 2 of them flyin around right!

Cynder is almost more popular than Spyro on fansites. They'd be stupid to dismiss her character for any reason.

Well it should mentionm them ynless we have a 3rd Reboot, But i realy hope they don't stay together. I have my resons as members should know...
