The thing I like about Los is that it shows how the spyro series has "grown up" right with us. Like when we were kiddies, we enjoyed the younger game-style of the spyro games. But now that we're older, we enjoy more action and deeper plot like Los. Spyro has been following our growth, which I like. It probably won't go father than Los, but that's fine. If I had to guess about what they're planning next, I'd say a Ds game with the 3d graphics. Just an assumption to why it's taking so long.

They are making the next Spyro game. But it's hinted of going in "a different direction."

Yeah I agree. I like old Spyro. I do really much. But somehow the "epic" feeling in the TLoS series are just a little more 'interesting' as the older ones. I personally like epic and more serious game. So I hope too it's something compared to the TLoS series..

anyone having hopes for a new upcoming Spyro game?
I already made a topic earlier asking people what they rather want. A game or a movie. More than half of the people said they rather want a game.
And so do I. I know, movie, sounds awesome. But yeah..

I personally am hoping to get a new fresh Spyro game.
What about you?
