Spyro the Dragon is my favorite spyro game, and I got it for christmas when it first came out! I actually played it on the demo first. I just love the music and the pace, I try to replay it once a year

I'll admit, I enjoyed it at first I thought it was the greatest game I played but as you progress you start to pick out all the flaws. Like the controls, they're quite fiddley and stiff at times

The problem with reviewers is that they want every game or movie to be like cheese on the cake and not enjoy it for what it is. I am glad that not every game is like that. Just look at how much games nowadays is basically like watching a movie. Not that its bad with cutscenes, but its not like i'm even playing a character or emerging through gameplay. Not all games are like this though.

Spyro 1 has lots of cozy and fun experience. 3D games at its best ^_^

No game is perfect, all games must have flaws unfortunately this one has too many to get it to 80% and higher. You must learn to be objective, look past all the good and then you'll soon see what I'm talking about. I'm not saying it was bad or anything, just not as good as everyone thinks. I seriously wasn't motivated enough to continue but I did finish.

Most major reviewers gave it around 80% and 90%. And I agree.

yh... i think they shuld have MORE cutscenes...

More Cutscenes? In a Way... Everytime You stepped on a Crystal-ed dragon, you played a cutscene. But I know what you mean.. Basically the only ones were the starting one and the ending one lol

Overall, this game is very fun and like I said at the beginning it still lives on even after 12 years

I managed to finish it. I'd give it 75%

I'm still playing it at least twice a year 100%. It's just the best of them all IMO.
