Hello friend. I'm a new user.
I tried to install the few top codes onto epsxe emulator, the SCES Number is correct, the cheats for moon jump match up, but when I put the cheats for "flying, hot breath, & infinite time", they get saved on to the cheat sheet, and get saved back into the game's own cheat file, but they are not visible, when I try to activate them, in game.

Any help would be masive, thank you.

If you use an Emulator and want to modify ANY number in the game without a long code http://www.cheatengine.org/

Indeed, and if you still prefer to use your good old PS (there's just no emulator replacement for the real deal after all) you can fire your game up in an emulator, search for an address that you know the gameshark / AR address for (let's say one that sets the number of rescued dragons in Spyro 1 to 80) and write the emulator address for that down. Assuming you're using your real disc image with the emulator any other addresses you find using cheat engine can be converted to work with your PS by simply adding the difference between the original GS / AR dragon address and the one found with CE.

If you use an Emulator and want to modify ANY number in the game without a long code http://www.cheatengine.org/
Its a memory scanning program so if the game stores the number then you can just search it in. I would recommend you get to grips with the Memory Searcher and how it works though.

Anybody here know how to create gameshark codes or anything along those lines?

I did some experimenting with the EU version ("Action Replay") several years past.
The "codes" are simply a means to set memory values of the game. There is also some rudimentary conditional flow control; this is what I remember:

OAAA AAAA - XXYY

The above is an instruction; all letters correspond to hexadecimal digits (0..15 where values 10 through 15 are represented by the letters A..F).
O defines the operation of the instruction.
Possible values are:

3 - Sets the byte at memory address AAA AAAA to YY. XX must be set to 00.
8 - Sets the word (2 bytes) at memory address AAA AAAA to XX YY. XX is the most significant byte and YY the least significant.
D - Conditional check; the next instruction is only executed if the current value (byte) at the given address (AAA AAAA) matches YY.

A represents the memory address that the preceding opcode refers to (see above).

X most significant byte; its meaning is dependent on the opcode (see O above). Must be set to 0 when using a single-byte instruction.

Y least significant byte; its meaning is dependent on the opcode (see O above). This is the value used with single-byte instructions.

(sometimes turning it off doesn't work, guess i don't press the buttons right, i don't know, so always double-check)

This can be explained by the rather restricted conditional flow control as seen above. The keystate of the controller is stored in a 2-byte word with different bits mapping to whether a certain key is pressed or not. The D instruction can only work with exact values, thus it will not recognize a keypress if any other key is accidentally pressed at the same time. Depending on the game it might also be that the orientation of the analogue thumb sticks are converted to a corresponding dpad on/off value and added to this keystate.

How about making a GameShark code for Have All Keys, one that gives you all the keys that work on the giant key-shaped locks on all the giant doors in the Gnasty Gnorc boss fight arena, including the pedestal that Gnasty Gnorc is standing on, and also works on the giant key-shaped locks on all the giant doors in the Gnasty's Loot bonus level as well, so that I don't have to chase down the thieves, and can just walk up to the giant doors that have the giant key-shaped locks on them and they'll automatically open?

However, the regular "Always Have Key" code only gives you the treasure chest key, which doesn't work on the giant doors, and only opens treasure chests.

Each key is at a different address and only works for a specific lock.

The 80075830 address just happens to only be the Treasure Chest Key, so it won't work on the giant doors, or on the pedestal that Gnasty Gnorc stands on.
