"Well, the rooms are basic, yet adequate. It's a good place to rest and get some sleep. It sells food too. Do you guys have money with you?" She asked as she signalled to Aura to turn right.

"I think we need some rest indeed." Link said upon hearing that they were almost there. "And I could use some food as well..."
"Yeh, ya sure do..." Lexon answered sarcastically.

She glanced upwards at the sky. A faint blue glow could be seen behind one of the towers of the Spire Palace. "That's pretty... It's almost morning already. I'd be getting up for work now if I was going in. Wait... I'm doing it again. Sorry, I'll shut up now. We're almost there anyway. You doing OK?"

"OK, suit yourself," She said, "Just be careful, yeah? And feel free to go to the tavern in a few hours, but don't expect to see me there. Perhaps I'll see you both around?" Lucy gave them a quick smile and then patted Aura on the neck and pointed down another small side street.

Of course, that is, with your permission, Zeel thought. Where can we rendezvous if I do have your permission?

She then turned to Aura. "Ready?"

You still haven't told me how to sever the link, Zeel thought. There are some thoughts I'd like to keep to myself.

"Do I look like a tour guide to you?!" She snapped, folding her arms. "As I said, I'm a newbie here too. I only go where I need to, so I only know these few streets." She looked around and thought for a moment. "No restaurants will be open at these early hours, and my... Morgan's tavern doesn't serve food anyway." She placed her hand on Aura's side. "I'm taking Aura to the inn where I'm staying - The Wayfarer Inn. It serves food there most of the time. If you two wanna come along then that's your choice. It costs to have a room though."

The boy was annoyed by the lack of drink in this town, then abdunce of life threating... things... and the scareness of humans, more importantly, human girls.

"So what now? Does my blue friend starve off over here?" asked Colum, feeling a pang of hunger himself.

Lucy froze and widened her eyes as Colum's hand struck her in a place where it shouldn't. She retained this pose for a few seconds before turning to Colum and Zeel's backs, her face creasing into a glare. She wanted to thump him. Who did he think he was? They didn't even know each other. The last thing she needed was some random guy following her around and using her as a source of pleasure. She was more than that. Plus she had enough to take care of as it was.

Then again, perhaps I do need a change... He is handsome I guess... She couldn't help but think.

She snapped out of her little trance when she realised that Colum and Zeel were heading down the side street towards the tavern. "I wouldn't bother," She said starting to follow them slowly, "The tavern's closed until 9am. Another 5 hour wait I'm afraid." She folded her arms smugly and glared at the back of Colum's head. "And don't expect to find me there in the morning," She said, "My back's barbecued." She managed to keep any spite out of her voice so that she didn't upset Aura.
