In my opinion (IMO), 'cool' would be very subjective. The most agreeable term of it is something you made/drew up.

Ah, speak about KH, Kurt Zisa is a great boss! Together with the Phantom and sephiroth it's the nicest boss to fight, according to me.

I like FF but 7 is enough, now we have 14 games. Well my problem is that they're too cinematic

You played FF7 to the end of disk one and didn't cry? Rubbish.

That said, it is a bit of a marmite game, RPGs are a marmite genre. So if you like a good RPG, you'll love final fantasy. That's what it comes down to.

I playedxc FF7 and i didn't cry. My mate said that "play for 1 hour and you will bee hooked" ............... I played for 1.5 hours and i was not hooked. So i went back to playing teh RTS game of da 'ear called CoH

Well, the storyline's are complex and brilliant, the battle system is fantastic (although it's a bit marmite-ish), the bosses are properly tough, to the point that you have a nerdy air guitar solo every time one falls. The humiliating, crushing defeats that hit you when you naively take on a dragon with a stick, go towards this burning desire to get to level eighty and slit the thing's throat.

It's pretty addictive, in essence, but the main hook is the genius of the creators, the story, characters (each of whom tends to get the spotlight at some point), the settings etc.

Also, in FFVII when Aeris died, it is almost impossible not to cry. I personally believe they enfused the game disks with onions. Oh and chocobos.

And can someone explain to me why final fantasy is so good >.<. I've got a friend who said tis the best game ever but its just kill stuff, level up, watch cinematic, kill moree stuff :S
