Yes, if they put effort into her, I would actualyl start to like the character. This is not going to happen, though. Or at least hire a *bleep* good actor for her...either way, it is an upgrade.

:s... It just like Krystal for Star Fox... People hate her because of the attention that she brought to that franchise. Cynder brought a lot of... undesirable attention to Spyro as well... at least from my experience she has. Cynder has the potential to be a "good" character... it all depends on much work her creators are willing to put into her. I would love it for to be like Kitara, or even Azula from Avatar but that's just me

I wouldnt mind if Cynder was "reincarnated" into the original series. The only gripe i have with her is her fanbase. some only want her emo and with spyro, and some want her sassy....with spyro. i hate the arguments, and i hate the "cynders past and future" speculation, as well as the much fanfiction around her

Cynder is not a bad character and the reason we have flame wars is because nobody can keep their opinions to themselves

Yeah. I don't like Frodo - er, Spyro.

I think Spyro looked cute at the end of the StD advert when he says 'Cool!'

I agree, I didn't find anything likable about the new Spyro's personality. He was just the cliche Gary Stu hero we see in every storyline that attempts to be "epic." Nothing new, nothing different.

I liked the slightly sarcastic attitude, but I admit it can be annoying if it goes overboard, like Ratchet in the first Ratchet and Clank. And Spyro in the advertisements for Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon. >.>

I have to agree with Saeth here. The new Spyro is a wimpy, boring old Gary-Stu. And in DotD, I think in the scene with him, Hunter, Sparx and Cynder at the campfire...he's all like, 'I have to stop it!' Not 'I'm gonna go torch Malefor's butt!' In my opinion, the second line would have been much more cuter and lovable.
