I think he was supposed to be creepy (but he wasn't quite strange enough). What would fantasy game series with "The Legend of" in the title be without that one creepy hermit you only encounter once?

I personally hate him..He is quite sexist if you ask me and reminds me of that creepy guy from the N64 Zelda games
