so apparently you really are just stuck there unless you find some kind of workaround that i can't. i found the glitch too, and it turns out you can go just about anywhere in the game EXCEPT Ice Citadel. so yeah. unless you or i finds a GameShark code, or another glitch or something, those save datas are just lost, basically. which sucks

this glitch is REALLY bothersome to try to pull off, but has a TON of potential

Speedruns on the speedways

So, the last time I logged into this forum was in 2012 but the last time I actually posted something was in like 2009? Anyways.

In case anyone's still around here, I've been interested in speedrunning on Sgt. Byrd's speedways. I've searched if there's any other post or archive on the internet about this topic, but all I found were full game speedruns and not speedway ones. So, here are the best two strats I've developed for Island and Cloudy speedways, both on easy mode (for the dragon egg). I'll be looking into perfecting those strats and making some for the other speedways and difficulty settings as well. I got 1:15 with the Cloudy strat, but it can get much better than that.

Issue with Hero's Tail

Has any one have had the same issue as me. What will happen is start playing, everything will work fine. Once I get to the third level the memory card will corrupt it self and I will have start all over again. It is the only game the memory card does it to. I'm running an oldish PS2. All the other Spyro games work fine. I've tried a different disk an it did the same thing. It will either be the Memory card or the PS2. What do you recon it could be and have you had the same issue.

Why is sgt Byrd so snobby in this game??

She and Flame were in Shadow Legacy, but that game came after AHT, and their personalities weren't that different.

i think Ember and Cynder would work far better as friends than rivals, because the whole rivals things has been done to death. Embers quirky personality would balances Cynders personality nicely imo.

there are apparently a bunch of unused/incomplete levels stored on the disc, there are some videos of them on YouTube, they should have completed those and added them, too.

I loved that background music (So much that I have been sitting here for about 30 mins trying to edit the song into a perfect loop and it seems 1 full loop is about 2:54)
