Well its easy enough to just load some custom firmware onto your psp and emulate any games by a method stormy does not want me to mention...

You can use Quick Escape To get away from different battles. Animals are also used to transport such as "Knock Hedgehogs into Statues" And Using A Mole to get up cliffs. Phoenix Vision, an ability item can locate different transporters in means of getting extra gems.

I think in no way that this game is terrible. The camera isn't great, but they did compensate for it with how they built the levels.

It could have been a lot worse. Like this game I made for a 72 hour game making competition, inspired by the Spyro gba games:

I can't really tell what you do wrong with the jump, maybe a timing issue?

What I like about this game is how varied it is. There's the basic Spyro gameplay, but also Agent 9 and Sgt. Byrd. There are mini games or quests in each level, with different gameplay mechanics. It's also not as frustratingly difficult as Season of Ice(Speedways in particular).

Something I both like and dislike is how the game is constructed to force backtracking to complete it 100%, with a rather small amount of levels(compared to the other games), containing differently coloured chests that you need to get different keys for, and some objects you need new breaths to activate. And all the quest objects. It's slightly frustrating with all those chests you can't open at "this" point in the game, but when you finally get the key, it's rather satisfying. Fewer levels did result in nicer, more worthwhile and unique levels, though. At least compared to Season of Ice(I never played Season of Flame).

Thanks for all the help, I can see others have issues with the same level. I finally figured it out, and the place that I was unable to jump over IS the way to the exit, and theres no grappling hook involved, you just have to double jump from the red platform.
Idk, it seemed impossible at first but it worked for me, so any of you who had trouble, maybe try that?

I remember one time, my game saved in a dark cave without a light, the game crashed.

2nd failure, I got all gems exept 10 gems to open up the door with the money bag, The gems was on the inside of that room, another save broken yeah had like 98% -_-

3th time, then It froze at the start I had to keep hiting the gba intil it got pass the start up screen, Started playing for real now, got 100% after some hours, was fun then I wanted to try again, then I got bored.

Man this game is great, kind of hard to judge where to land with the shadow under you, atleast the game got infinty life .

I did give this game 9/10 also for having ripto and some new dudes in this game.
