Eh, I think this should not be completely deleted per say, merely moved into the Trash thread in case of the unlikely possibility of an alternate movie being announced.

The only problem with so-called different direction, Aura24 is that so far Spyro as a franchise has rarely if ever been taken seriously enough by his owners or his various developers. If they really cared about this franchise they would put the effort that is necessary into making a good storyline that makes the fans of both version stop bickering and come together. What is needed is a Spyro game that heals the fanbase not divided further. Unfortunately, I fear that like so many owners before them Activision/Blizzard will screw up the franchise even more in some way.

Now that the movie is gone....Game anyone?

I believe these were used as commercials for The Eternal Night.
Nonetheless, these three videos are cool. I really like them. Also, I think
whoever is making the next Spyro game should take their time creating it.
The more time they work on it, the better the game will be. If it's rushed,
the disk mind as well be used as a frisbee and/or ninja star to be thrown
at one's most disliked sibling.

Yep, we know it's been canceled; there have been a couple threads about it already.

(You should probably also site where this text came from, though from the citation marks I'm guessing it's Wikipedia.)

It was in production, an the vague info availible indicates the rights to make it expired, and Activision was unwilling to sell an extention.

Ehem.

Anyways, considering the movie is cancelled, Did anyone track anything for ideas about a possible new Spyro game?
What we know is that they'll continue the story where the stopped, and characters would be in their same roles.
For example Ignitus is and will stay the new Chronicler, Terrardor becomes the new 'main' guardian, Spyro and Cynder are alive considering they weren't in that book thing..

New enemies, maybe a new main villain..or maybe a returning villain?
I'd love to see Red returning in some sort of "TLSO" style Like Hunter drastically changed..
I'm also thinking of an more 'open' gameplay, like more free-roaming..Or even some sort of "RPG" feeling.. And yeah, since Cynder convinced Spyro that she loves him, maybe something will happen further I3
..hey, not talking about kids yet, lol.

Meh, you get the idea..

Any further ideas?
