Re: General Discussion 5

That's awesome, 36! I finally got on medication last month myself for insomnia and the depression and anxiety that came with it. I had no faith in antidepressants after taking them in high school to no effect, but this one has been working unbelievably well. I barely have trouble sleeping at all anymore, and I don't feel like I'm dying on the rare occasion when I do.

Also I'm seeing a therapist about social anxiety and we made a list of milestones for me to work on from least to most difficult social situations. I feel like Starlight Glimmer with her friendship lessons. tongue

Re: General Discussion 5

a lot of health-related stuff going on in my famiy right now, too, Mr. John. not quite "serious" stuff, but still, ugh, i can definitely sympathize with you on this. and like Paranoia said, it's fine to talk about this stuff here smile life happens and it's good to be able to talk about it with someone.

i'll pray for your relative in the hospital!

Re: General Discussion 5

So we need some more activity in this part of the forum. What's everyone been up to these days?

For me, not much, but our second baby is going to be born in about three months, so I have to get the forum updated before then. tongue

Wow, I almost forgot you're going to have another baby yikes

Well, nothing much happening here, just studying and... studying x) and playing games, and some random cooking, which reminds me I procrastinated almost a year the one recipe I wanted to share in the recipes thread hunter

Re: General Discussion 5

you're having another kid?! what?! yikes

as for what i'm up to ... trying to get my life organized. i went WAY too long assuming i was self-diagnosing all my problems, and now that i've been in therapy about a year, i'm trying to fix years of procrastination, bad habits, and mental problems, and the various consequences these things have had on me. RIGHT now, i'm trying to focus on balancing "work" and "relaxing". i have a tendency to just work on things (and get myself anxious about things i have to do) and then just crash at the end of the day, rather than taking time to chill out a bit.

i'm not trying to change my work ETHIC, just my METHODS -- after all, just going and going won't yield anything useful. just rushed, slapdash work, and even less motivation. finding time to relax and distract myself etc is actually important. i've been mostly doing this through video games, but i also want to pick up art again soon. just for fun smile i doubt i'm going to pursue art professionally -- at the very least, any time soon.

It works on most of the big enemies in Spyro 3.

Oddly, you can't directly kill any big enemies with it in Spyro 2, but you can move earthshapers by headbashing when you're right next to them, for some reason.
