Solar Eclipse

I'm posting this from Kansas about an hour away from where we'll be viewing the eclipse tomorrow. Is anyone else going to see it?

Re: Solar Eclipse

I probably won't be viewing the eclipse.

I have changed my username from Justin Long Fanatic to EricChristianOlsenFanatic, so Justin Long Fanatic is my old name on this site, and EricChristianOlsenFanatic is my new one.

We missed the totality from cloud cover sad The trip overall was good, we had delicious local barbecue and lots of interesting conversations about everything from Mormonism to coming up with an organized method for making sure everyone shook everyone else's hand without any repeats

Re: Solar Eclipse

oh, didn't even notice this thread was here o.O

i saw a partial eclipse. and by "partial", i mean it only covered maybe 60-70% of the sun, and the only noticeable difference in my surroundings was that it was a bit darker than usual. like maybe "early evening" lighting instead of "afternoon". still, i'm glad i decided to see it. it was cool for what it was smile and i was afraid i wouldn't get to the spot in time or something, but i did.
