If Spyro Were a Mythological Dragon...
Which mythology do you think he'd belong to? I know it can't be Aztec nor Chinese, since that Aztec dragon has feathers and the Chinese dragons end up sacrificing themselves into four rivers.

European dragons probably. He looks more like them than any other mythology's dragons anyway

You could be right, but this whole philosophy with European dragons is confusing, though. From what I've read, European dragons are vile, evil, and destructive beasts. The Asian ones are almost the exact opposite.

I don't think they thought it through to that extent. They just wanted a dragon character and the most well known and recognizable style happens to be those from European fantasy and folklore. Personality wize he's a unique character completely outside that
