I usually watch anime when I have some serious time to kill. (like on the plane) But I agree with rurekredwolf Fullmetal alchemist, :3 long-time favorite.

Anime is French for animation y'know. My faves are Bleach, Karin, Fruits Basket, Tactics and Ouran High School Host Club. I've lately been watching DNAngel. Anime rox! big_smile

What makes an anime show:

1. Lips may not be in sync with the words.
2. The background must be able to induce a seizure when a character makes a fast motion directed at something.
3. Use question marks, exclamation points, or ellipsis's above a character's head to show emotion.
4. When someone yells, zoom out out the building, forest, desert, or other setting and use an exclamation point.
5. When in a group, have all characters show surprise at the same time and say the same thing.
6. Eyes must be twice or thrice as large as they should be, and put white blots in them to show emotion.

Both old and new Pokemon for me I think. Wolf's Rain and Naruto look pretty cool from the little I've seen. I've also seen a AMV for Saikano, and that looks like a nice anime.
