Yes, Toys for Bob, the creator of Skylanders, is working on the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

I have, and I noticed the art style in Reignited looked a lot like what you see in Skylander games developed by TFB.

from the promos, it looks like they have taken care to recreate a lot of what made the original trilogy so fun. With modern graphics and controls, but very much keeping the spirit of these 20 year old ames.

Gems to collect, treasures to be found, great levels, and a fiesty, smolding, fire breathing dragon. Yup definetly a true Spyro game.
