Im FINALLY getting two more Spyro games!

YES! Victory at last! So for my birthday im going to get Enter The Dragonfly and a Hero's Tail. I got these because even though im halfway through the Eternal Night I eventually got bored of the series and all that so thought it was time to get some new games and this is what I came up with!

So I would just like to know...

What were your experiences on these games?

Would appreciate it if there can be some feedback smile

If you go into Enter the Dragonfly with low expectations, you might like it. It's a very unpolished game that tries to be like the original series but doesn't do a very good job of it.

I really liked A Hero's Tail. It's really not like any of the other games. It's kind of like LoS in that there's no lives system, but the world's are a lot more bright and colorful, and there's no clunky "beat up the endless swarms of monkeys" combat, just platforming. I will say that there were some... odd decisions made about some of the characters. Spyro's voice is weirdly nasally, Moneybags is some kind of Middle Eastern(?) merchant with an accent... stuff like that.

Overall, I enjoyed Enter the Dragonfly, but it does have many problems. If I remember correctly, it sometimes has loading screen for the loading screens tongue . I remember it being kinda glitchy too.

I agree with Stormy on A Hero's Tail. It has a unique atmosphere and I really nice soundtrack as well. The devs implemented a new system where you use gems to buy certain things. Might not be for everyone, but I liked it. The only problem I had was the Blink levels. The controls were broken as *bleep* so I ended up dying alot because of it. It's a pretty small part of the game though so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

tbh enter the dragonfly...as much as i love spyro to death, enter the dragonfly was a major disappointment, heros tail pretty chill though, be that as it may, enjoy your games very much gem

Wow! Thanks everyone! Ok so now I know that Enter The Dragonfly is gonna be rubbish hmm

But at least a Hero's Tail is meant to be good!

I posted a review of Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly just over a year ago.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is pretty much completely different to the first 4 canon games, but it's still very fun. You'll definitely need to get used to it, though. Gems are now unlimited, and they're used as currency, and it's basically a collectathon overall, not that that's a bad thing.

True - the premise is good, but you can't polish a turd. Too bad it wasn't on PC otherwise it probably could have been modded into a good, if not great game
