Re: Sony showing interests in bringing back the Spyro and Crash license
Loco, you honestly believe Sony doesn't know that Spyro still has his fanbase?

Re: Sony showing interests in bringing back the Spyro and Crash license
I think that Sony could benefit from a Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon game if the games were true to their original form, but updated enough to be as cutting edge as their originals as well (what a challenge).
Personally, I don't see any of this in the near future, and I echo feelings of a Crash revisited being more likely than Spyro. As the console gaming industry faces pressure from other, more mobile gaming alternatives I think they are going to have some steep competition for advancement. Soon enough we'll be looking at gaming in a whole new way, (like the Wii made people think of it in a whole new way in a small degree) and we'll just have to see how well Spyro and Crash fit into that mold. As time goes on however, their returns seem less and less likely as their fans get older and older with the intermediate crowds not having exposure to these characters.

If tomorrow may never come, and yesterday is just a memory, then what is today worth?

Hahaha!!! I have some writing to do too. Have you read Beneath the Stars?
Anyway, I agree with you. In comparison to other fanbases, ours is minuscule.

Yeah. I'm not even sure if we're enough to make a company consider us. Not to mention that some of us are TLoS fans, while others prefer original Spyro.

Re: Sony showing interests in bringing back the Spyro and Crash license
at this point, I wouldnt care if they threw characters from LOS and A Heros Tail together , just so we could say we had a new game. the thing about LOS was the limited characters you could play, having options is good. as for reviving old series look at what Nintendo is doing with Star Fox, a new game after nearly 10 years.

Re: Sony showing interests in bringing back the Spyro and Crash license
At this point the only way we can see new Spyro games is if the fans make them themselves. (Which some are doing like a few projects on the forum but most of the past projects have been abandoned)
-Intel I7 4770k 4.5Ghz / Phanteks U-Type Black -Vengeance (Hynix) 16Gb 1600Mhz -Kingston SSDNow M.2 / 2TB Seagate Constellation
