Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
I get it. I've failed at a lot of things but I just get back up on the high horse and keep on trying until I can succeed.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
How do you fail to fail? You succeed.
The end.
We can use Algebra here to.
The value of Success will be y.
The value of Failure will be -y.
If you succeed in failing,
-y x y = -y
If you fail in succeeding,
y x -y = -y
If you fail in failing,
-y x -y = y
y = Success
Thus, you succeed.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
What if it's more addition than multiplication?
y+-y= 0
-y + -y = -2y
And if failing is a higher value than suceeding, (failure = -2y and sucess = y) then failing to suceed is pretty fail, but failing to fail is epic fail.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
So, if you use maths here, you can get every outcome:
Success = -y
Fail = y
In additions,
-y+y = 0, so nothing happens
y+y = 2y, so double (epic) fail.
In multiplications,
-y • y = -y, success.
y • y = y², so double (epic) fail.
BUT what if you do it like this:
Success = x
Fail = y
In additions,
x + y = N/A, so nothing happens. same goes for y+x
In multiplications,
x • y and y • x becomes xy, meaning that you both succeed and fail at the same time. That's interesting.
I know the second way is weird and not mathematically applicable at this problem, but just look at it, it's another option, so if you fail to fail, you either epicly fail, nothing happens, succeed or fail and succeed at the same time, and I think the last one sounds the most logical.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
Trying to fail when referring to the attempt to fail is paradoxical. However, if say, you're trying to fail at cooking spaghetti, then you can suceed to fail at that. That means that while you failed the spaghetti, you suceeded in failing. If you fail to fail, then you suceeded in cooking the spaghetti, but failed at failing.
Therefore, if you fail to fail in reference to trying to fail to fail, then you end up with a paradox. BUT if you introduce a secondary objective, at which you want to fail, you will fail and suceed at the same time, regardless of what you do.
Logic pwns maths.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
But Logic has ties with Math.....
But I've still proven that if you fail to fail, you succeed.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
Logic does not always mean the truth.
It's logic that a bird with wings can fly. It's not always true.
It's logic that drown in water because there's no oxygen there. Wrong.
It's logic that if you fail to fail, you succeed. No.
Another one: If you fail to fail, do you fail at the fail you failed or the fail of the fail you fail? You fail at failing, and so you fail. In that case, everyone fails every time, so the word fail isn't needed anymore. Problem solved.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
yeah.... um.. I'm pretty much logic and not much math... but math is logic...
If I try to strike out and hit a home run.... to me I have failed... but to everybody else I have succeded...
Science (General Reletivity) says that the concept of succedding and failing differs from person to person... therefor failiure is different in the eyes of each person... The thing that decides this out come is determined by each observer...
The general population would say that I succeed...
If tomorrow may never come, and yesterday is just a memory, then what is today worth?

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
Actually, logic is just three rules put into practise. Mathmatics is so much more, and they've never seemed similiar enough to be the same to me. At best, one was derived from the other.

Logic is logical
Math is precise.
What would you choose? Truth or Logic?

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
Truth, but do stop being so spiritual. There are times and places to come up with spontaneous nonsense, but I reckon those places are elsewhere. Besides, it doesn't become you.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
It's funny that you call this spirituality. It may be, but I'm not spiritual at all or something like that. Well, must have been a wrong post then. Still, this topic is in the wrong section, and the answer can be anything: Fail, epic fail, success, nothing, or both at the same time, Idc. It can be everything, it's just how you see it. That was not spiritual, that was logic

I hate it when people spam outside the spam board, I had a few people do that on my site. Now with me, if you spam outside the board, you get no warning jack cuz I just delete your account.

Re: What if you Fail to Fail?
I didn't say it was spam, I was just stating that I get annoyed when people spam outside the board.
Back on topic:
If you fail to fail then you've reached a new level of fail, which means there's no hope in hell of success, so if you fail then you fail to fail then you're just born to fail. If I fail, I just get back on my feet and try again.
