I need to play Cloud Spires again. I actually can't decide whether I prefer it to Cloud 9 at the moment! Sticking out Tongue

Yeah. I don't think it should be the most-hated game though. That should definately be Spyro Orange/Fusion!

I actually prefer AHT to ETD but ETD has the best Spyro design so far. I hope someone tries picking up the good elements of ETD soon and pass it on to a new game Smile

I do not agree, the design was alot better in 1, 2, 3 or even AHT

Really? It's based on 1-3 and it's basically a Hi-Res version. AHT's is a bit abstract imo...

This game got a very bad rap. If you play the GameCube collector's edition all the glitches that people complain about are gone, so you can play the game for what it is. Is it short? Yes. However it followed the old Spyro style wonderfully. Puns, wit, irony, quirky characters and a unique variety of levels. Plus challenging puzzles and obstacles. It may have felt more like an extension of YotD than a whole new game but being as I like the old Spyro games more, I'd take an EtD 2 (longer, no glitches, of course!) to the next TLoS game. Most people are horrified to hear that but they only look at EtD for its shortness and glitchiness. Play the GC disc on a Wii and then judge it. With no glitches there, you can see that it's actually a decent game that was the closest to the original Spyro games of any games that followed it. Not that that's important to me but so many people harp on "pure, classic, Insomniac style Spyro" well...EtD was the closest to that out of any of the non-Insomniac games.

EtD was a good game and didn't deserve the raping it got from critics and fans. It was inexcusably short and the lack of other playable characters was also inexcusable but for what it was it was better than what people credit it for.

Yeah I agree iceferno that its the closest to spyro 1 in alot of ways. Definatley not as solid and generly not as good as it but there are alot of elements in it that remind me of the first, more than spyo 2 and 3 do, aswell as the other later ones

i like spyro's model in this game. It was similar to the origanal model and it was more HI-RES. it's alot better then the new one but its not as good as the origanal one.
