Ignitus sighed in relief, but he knew that it wasn't over yet. "It's not safe..." he muttered. Neo looked to Ignitus and nodded, agreeing with him. He looked to Spyro and Cynder. "Spyro, Cynder... it is not safe for you to stay here in these woods." He sighed. "If the Apes and Ulkna found you, then you would have to head somewhere else...." Ignitus looked to Neo, shocked at what he said. "Where else would they go? Almost all of the Dragon Realms are controlled by him then where would they go?" Neo turned to Ignitus with determination. "We will take back the Dragon Temple, kick the Apes out of there. It is the safest place to be since it is fortified, easier to defend then here."

Neo turned his attention back to Spyro and Cynder. "You will have to tell your parents, let them know of what happened and what you will do. They will understand."

((I'll try to get Leo back in if I can, since he plays Sparx.))

"Yeah, OK, I agree, but you STILL haven't answered my question!" Cynder squealed, "Who on earth was that... that... psycho?!" She felt that she needed to know, since everything that Ulkna had said to her was whirling around in her mind like a whirlpool. Dark powers... Apprentice...

That answer wasn't sastifying enough Spyro , because it lacked the main element : Ulkna. Why this big guy wanted him dead , and what about this...meaningless things he said to Cynder ?
But as Cynder already asked this question , he just added :
"I'll , but you have to explain all this to us before. I'm getting lost in all this ! And being the main target , if I don't know anything about my most mortal enemy at all , I'm not going far...Especially if YOU strong guys can't even stand against him."

"I'll explain who Ulkna is while we are on our way." Ignitus replied. "It would be time for you all to know what has happen while you were here..."

"Then let us not wait. The more time we stay here, the more likely that more Apes would come. We'll head back to your parents before we head to the Dragon Temple." said Neo as he turned to head in the direction where Spyro lived for the last few years.

Ignitus looked towards Spyro and Cynder. "All will be explained...but I can tell you now that you both play a big part in the events that will come...I cal feel it." He turned to follow Neo.

Cynder frowned as she followed Ignitus and Neo. "But... While Ulkna threatened to kill Neo and Spyro, why did he spare you? What does he need you for? And who's this Volteer?" She had a nasty gut feeling as to why Ulkna didn't want to kill her...

"I-I don't know." Ignitus replied to Cynder. "Volteer, is another Guardian, alongside me and two others. Volteer is the Electric Guardian, he is a fast talker, sometimes saying more than what he needs to say. Then there is Cyril, the Ice Guardian. He is confident and prideful, but it gets to the point where he just likes to brag about himself. Finally, there is Terrador. He has fought more battles than any of us; he is more able to keep a level head than the rest of us." He sighed and shook his head. "But what Ulkna said proves me fears, that they were captured while trying to rally more dragons against the Dark Armies. If Ulkna is indeed torturing them...it can't be anything good."

Torture ? Spyro tried to imagine what it would look like , in vain. It might be umm...horrible...just knowing the guy from a far.
"We mustn't let them get tortured by this mad guy for sure...If we can...But why are we so important in all this ? What make us so...special ? Me and Cynder are just a little bigger than Sparx , that's all...Did we missed something ?"

Cynder noddded slowly, taking in what Ignitus had said. "Torture? I agree with Spyro, that can't be good. And I have a gut feeling that Ulkna is a real nasty foe to deal with. It's not difficult to miss. I mean, just looking at him tells you he's evil. Look at the way he killed that ape." She shuddered, trying to keep the disturbing image away. "He did that with his mind?! I don't wanna know what else he can do..."

She suddenly trotted ahead of the group, her mind in a daze. "Um... this way." She said, taking a left turn and heading to a small swamp.

Ignitus followed Cynder as she went ahead, the Fire Guardian letting out a sigh. "It is a dark time indeed. I have...encountered Ulkna before, fought against him in battle, but he left me to live just like this time. I thought he was just letting me live just so he can painfully kill me later, but hearing that the others are alive and being tortured, and that he needed me, I thought for the worse."

Neo looked down to Spyro, giving the young purple dragon a calming smile. "There is a prophecy that involves a certain dragon, one who will defeat the Dark Master and save everyone. While the Dark Master has heard about this prophecy, he did not get the egg of whom the prophecy talks about. Spyro, you are not a dragonfly if you are bigger then one." He looked up to Ignitus. "No, you are a dragon; a purple one to be precise, and the one that the prophecy talks about. Cynder is a dark dragon, which is why I put her next to you. I've heard that the Dark Master needed a dragon born of the Year of the Dragon, and Cynder would of been the perfect candidate if it wasn't for me."

Thoughts were tormenting Spyro's mind. What about Sparx ? The parents ? And that mean that he can learn to fly...
"...You really mean it ? But...Our parents aren't dragonflies then ? This story with that Ulkna , about me , and now I discover that I'm not even Sparx's brother ! I guess I need a little break to make things right , 'cause if I continue like that...My head will explose in a matter of seconds !"

Dark dragon. "NO." Cynder said firmly. "I'm nothing like that monster, and I never intend to be." She felt sick as a sudden realisation came to her. Thinking back to Ulkna... His black scales... His blood-red chest. He looked strikingly similar to her. No... that's a coincidence... She told herself. Him and I can't be the only black dragons in the world... can we?

With a thousand thoughts at once, they arrived in the swamp. "This way..." Cynder muttered, leading them on.

((So... who's gonna play Nina and Flash? It won't be for long.))

Neo sighed at hearing Cynder's outburst. "I know. A dark dragon is just a term to describe a dragon with dark powers, it does not have any relation with evil unless the dragon itself is evil." He looked down to Cynder. "I saved you for a reason Cynder, so you will keep Spyro company and so you don't fall into the Dark Master's hands."

"Do not worry, Cynder. Not all dark dragons are like Ulkna." Ignitus said, putting a tone of spite in using Ulkna's name. "You'd be surprised in how many dark dragons can be good; in fact your walking alongside one who is part dark dragon." Ignitus smiled lightly, at least that would change the topic a bit.

Cynder POV

"Dark... Master?" As the words came from Cynder's lips, a small shiver ran down her spine. "Who's the Dark Master? And Neo, you're half-dark?! How can that be? You're... so nice." She said shyly. "And those guardians you were talking about; Ulkna is no doubt keeping them prisoner or something. We have to help them, right Spyro?" She was bewildered that they had been throw into something huge in just minutes...

Ulkna POV

((Jeez, where is everyone? Well, looks like Leo isn't here any more... I'll let Ulkna go solo for a while.))

The dark dragon landed back on his balcony at Concurrent Skies, a huge grin on his face. Perfect... I've finally found them. He thought. At the back of the tower there was a large altar, and in front of it was a row of four white, clear crystals.

Ulkna approached them and his grin grew larger. He lowered his head and grabbed one of the crystals in his jaws. He then shot upwards through the glass ceiling and flew towards the Arctic realm, Dante's Freezer. Spyro, Cynder, Ignitus and Neo... See you there.

For Spyro , there was no doubt about it.
"Of course , and that's what we're going to do ! I don't even think about letting people being between the evil hands of this guy without doing anything..."

He then aimed his words at Cynder :
"And being dark or not...Does not really matters , as long as you act well. I even doubt that It can be considered as a proof of evilness...Neo clearly isn't even half bad , and neither are you. It's just pure nonsense to judge a dragon by its color skin..."
