which Spyro game did you find the most tricky?
for me, it was definitely Gateway to Glimmer ._. the minigames are so frustrating compared to YotD... I've completed both Spyro 1 and Spyro 3 fully but I'm still struggling with Spyro 2, dammit!

Spyro The Dragon appears to be the hardest to me. I could normally go 100% on all stages the game threw at me, but after Magic Crafters World, it is too hard for me to get all the gems, let alone complete the stages.
That's a tough one. They're all kind of easy for me now since I've played them so many times and pretty much memorized how to do everything.
Bar Haunted Towers and Tree Tops, which are easy when you know how to do them, I'd say YotD was the hardest. Some of those challenge portals were pretty evil.
Spyro the Dragon. The only Spyro game (EtD aside cuz that was so boring) where I haven't completed everything. It took me ages to realise that you got to the faraway island in Tree Tops by following the green theif, damnit...

Spyro the Dragon, but it was only one thing that I can't do on that one and that is the last dragon on Enchanted Towers or whatever it is as well as the treasure surrounding it (the one where he knights come to life and you get kissed by fairies). I can't get the one you can hear above the supercharges... I've been told how but I still can't do it.
However, my vote goes to Gateway to Glimmer, because the challenges on that were hard... I hated the one where you had to save the cavemen from big dinosaurs... That level took me AGES.
The challenges in Gateway to Glimmer were hard, yes. 'TROUBLE WITH THE TROLLEY EH?!' *shot*

really? I found Spyro the Dragon the most simple because there were no annoying mini games XD just raw collecting

especially that last tank mission in Haunted Tomb... I swear winning that was based entirely on your luck D: still stand by Spyro 2 being more difficult though, they've got harder challenges

ditto... man, I would stare at that island in complete confusion many a time XD

that WAS hard... I'm still struggling with that second ice challenge in Colossus... I find it hard to leave a world incomplete D:

arghhh o_. when I first got Spyro, I spent SO long on that challenge, hearing that stupid bird repeat that again and again... and then I make a stupid mistake this playthrough and all the horrible memories return XD I remember saying 'I've got no trouble with the trolley, bird!' when I was playing through as a young kid >.>

To just complete: YotD
All Spyro games have an equal difficulty to complete, but I guess YotD was the most difficult (with the bosses).
To fully complete (ignoring skill points): Spyro the Dragon.
StD is the best Spyro game ever, and I think some of you agree with that. Gems were still hidden and secret rooms to complete the game 100% (or whatever was the maximum... maybe 120) were still difficult to find. It took me HOURS to find the Haunted Towers treasure room and the same goes for Tree Tops. I often missed keys and the Flights were the most challenging of them all (especially to get a good time. I'm working on it!)

That one, Agent Zero, and Hunter's challenge in the last Speedway were the ones I had the most trouble with in Spyro 2. The voices got so annoying and only added to the frustration of not being able to do it. "This time I'd better not catch you --" "Trouble with the trolley, eh?" "Hey, you missed a target!" Oh yeah, and I can't forget the Super Bonus World snowboarding challenge. "I think my toungue is frozen; you'd better not lose again!" >__>
I surprised at the current result with StD getting most votes.
I will admit that I was (still am) a huge Spyro geek. I bought the Strategy Guide long before I even bought the game just so I could tie myself down of excitement BEFORE I EVEN BOUGHT THE GAME.
Honestly, though, I only looked at it a couple times during the first complete playthrough for levels like tree tops and terrace village.
I have beaten the game 20-something times and can find everything in the game within 4 hours. And I'm not even speed running. What is the speed run record BTW?...
I voted YotD mainly because you can't easily find anything until Sparx can point into the direction of the missing gems, something her can do from the start of RR.
