Ummm...Okay , I'll take Spyro then.
But I warn you , I haven't played ANB , since I can't find it easily in French stores now... (I'm not kidding , Spyro is UNKNOWN in France dudes...)
Is that really necessary to have played ANB to take him , or is his personnality so cliché that I can turn it into something completely different from the game ?
Just to know about it , that's why I hesitated to join , mainly.

As long as you have a good enough PC and a PC controller, you could just download ANB and play it on an emulator on you PC. I don't know if thats legal in France. (Hell its not legal in the USA but thats not holding me back. My old Gateway here though can't do ANB. Graphics aren't so great X()

You'll do well if you played Eternal Night or Dawn of the Dragon. Guessing since we have the canon characters that are at the start of the rp, I can officially start it.

((All right. First post will be the intro, which will be like the ANB intro with Ignitus's narrative as well as some scenes. Rping starts after this post.))
In the Year of the Dragon, in a world beyond the realms, I, like all other dragons, waited for the birth of the dragon of whom the prophecies foretold.
Ignitus enters a room that contains a pool of water, and most importantly, a purple egg resting on a cushion. A series of torches dotted the sides of the room, illuminating the room with whatever light it could provide.
But the location of the dragon was leaked, said as a rumor that he or she rested here in the Dragon Temple. It was both a good thing...and bad. More dragons came to the Temple to protect the dragon, as it would save them ...save all of us. But the Dark Master knew of this prophecy, and the leak confirmed where it is.
Ignitus walked over to the purple egg, a small feeling of hope overcoming him as he moved closer to it. He looked down at the small egg, just thinking of how this one dragon would fulfill the prophecy.
We should of hidden the eggs long before, but we...we thought we were ready, we thought they were safe. Oh how wrong we were.
The room shook as an explosion hit the side of the temple, Ignitus looking up at the crumbling ceiling. A dark blue dragon entered the room, younger then Ignitus, a look of concern and urgency on his face.
"Ignitus, the Dark Army has come! They attacked the front gate, but another force attacked the Western Side! We don't know if the Eastern Side will hold!" the dark blue dragon informed Ignitus.
Another explosion rocked the Temple. Seconds later, a black dragon, Neo, entered the room.
"That, would be the Eastern Side being breached. Apes are storming whatever entrance they can find like ants to fruit. No Dreadwings yet, which is good for us." Neo explained. "Ignitus, the time has come."
Ignitus looked down at Neo's right arm and saw that he was holding a black dragon egg. He was hesitant to take the purple egg out of the home where it lied for a few days, but he made up his mind.
"Agreed." he looked towards the dark blue dragon. "You, help defend the Temple and make sure no one gets to the eggs." he ordered, the other dragon nodding before leaving.
Without any second to spare, Ignitus picked up the purple egg and fled to another door, breathing fire at it to open it. Neo followed suite with the black egg. The door was a secret passage out of the Dragon Temple, Ignitus flying out with Neo close behind. Ignitus soon lands at a river, seeing that they are safe...but for how long. Ignitus sighed just as Neo landed near him.
"There is not much we can do now...we'll need to send them somewhere safe...somewhere away from danger." Ignitus placed the purple egg in a mushroom top, to send the egg down river.
"I'll watch over them." Neo gently placed the black egg next to the purple egg.
"I know you want to keep them safe, but I don't think that will do any hel-"
Neo looked towards Ignitus. "I'll watch them from the shadows, make sure that those Apes won't find them and do harm to them. They will be living with whoever finds them, if anyone, but I will keep them safe."
"I guess you're right..." Ignitus looked back to the eggs and sighed before pushing the mushroom into the river. "So this is where we part ways, Neo."
"We may not see each other, but that doesn't mean it will be the last." Neo walked alongside the eggs as they drifted down river, away from Ignitus.
Ignitus sighed, the turn of events disappointing him..and possibly others. "May the Ancestors look after you..."
Neo stopped walking and glanced towards Ignitus. "May they look after us all." He resumed following the eggs, leaving Ignitus behind before he turned around and took off again.
Eventually, the eggs, followed secretly by Neo, came to rest in a distant swamp, where a family of dragonflys gathered round, wondering what magnificent creatures could possibly live inside. They didn't have to wonder for long. What came out of the eggs frightened them at first, but finally amazed and astonished them. It was a purple dragon and a black dragon, both male and female respectively, who they adopted and raised as one of their own. They named the purple dragon Spyro, the black dragon named Cynder because of her color, and they grew up alongside Sparx, the young dragonfly who was born the same day. In fact, the three were almost like brothers and sister.
((Okay, its long but good for an intro. Its similar to ANB's intro but different in a way since Cynder was with Spyro from the beginning. Neo will be around, but won't reveal himself right away. And now we start ^^))

Sepher watched as Neo and Ingnitus parted ways, that night.
"So thats their plan is it? Well it's better then nothing....." Sepher had sighed a long sigh, and beat his wings, taking off into the night.
That was so long ago.
Now he wondered where the young dragons were now. Had they perished? He had seen the fall of the Guardians, watched as countless dragons fell. He and his pack had remained neutral in the conflict. They had known that joining forces with the dragons was suicidal. Yet they despised the forces of the Dark Master.
Sepher contemplated this, and watched the sun rise, on what he wished could be the dawn over a new world.........................

Galvore watched from his post in the east Tower of the main fortress in Concurent Skies. The Dread-Ape watched as a group of Dread-Wings flew by. "Unintelligent brutes..." He muttered under his breath. He couldn't help but feel responsible for the failed capture of the purple dragon. After all, he helped organize it. Even though Gaul was the one who officialy carried it out.

Emm no , of course it's not legal thanks to the ROM , but what stop me is my computer : no controller and no power at all , someone here compared this thing to a Nintendo DS you know...Thanks to YouTube , it's like if I had played the intro of the game now , so fine. Haha , I want this game now.)]
Spyro was the one who had to count this time.
"Eight , nine..Ten ! Here I come !"
He had to find them both , but of course , Cynder was the easiest to find out of them , being far bigger than Sparx , like him , and that's her that he found the first.

"Argh! Spyro! Why do you always find me first?" Cynder whined, stepping out of the bush she was hiding in. She smiled at her friend. "OK, now Sparx. But that's the tricky part. Why can't dragonflies be bigger?" She scanned the area carefully, looking for a sparkle that indicated Sparx's location. No luck. "Hmm... He often leaves this area altogther. Let's look..."
((So, Leo, Galvore is an ape? And he's on Ulkna's side? Ulkna pretty much replaces Cynder's role in ANB. I'll bring him in soon.))

'How long has I watched them, yet it is as if the world forgotten them' Neo thought to himself as he watched the two dragons look for the dragonfly, the larger black dragon watching from a distance away. He has been watching them in secret for some time now, the years flying by so quickly. 'At least they're safe, but I doubt that it would stay that way for long.'

On the highest tower of the Concurrent Skies citadel, a huge black dragon, with blood red wings, chest and underbelly and a large scar across his blind right eye, stood staring in awe at a portal that had appeared before him. Voices could be heard, but not to anyone else. No, Malefor, the Dark Master, spoke to his apprentice telepathically.
The black dragon, who went by the name of Ulkna, gave a respectful bow to the portal. "My master, Lord Malefor, I am humbly in your service. From the day you created me from the darkness, until the day you take my life away." He paused and shuddered slightly. "I am committed to resurrecting my master, and bringing your glory and power to the Dragon Realms. Until the day I cease to exist, I live to serve you, my Lord. These powers you bestowed upon me, shall be used whenever they are needed. Those who oppose us..." Ulkna turned around and smirked at the dismembered body of an ape, who had foolishly decided not to follow orders. "...Will be killed immediately. Lord Malefor," Ulkna bowed again, "I shall gain the power of the guardians and bring you back. This I promise."
At that, the portal vanished and Ulkna sighed. Humph. Why do I have to address him like that every day? He wondered. Stepping over the mangled body of the ape, he made his way to the edge of the tower and looked out at the crystallised landscape and dark clouds. OK then... What next I wonder?
