Ok i have got all of the eggs apart from the 2 doomed eggs. i have defeated sausarus. i can only get half way through your doomed...

Those challenges are pretty tough. I had a lot of trouble with this one my first time through Spyro 3. There's not really much of a method I know of besides shoot 'n run. When the ninjas start converging on you, and you feel overwhelmed, just run backwards and let the door close, regain your bearings and go at it again. There are various fodder (the little bugs) which will help your health if it gets low. And remember to always watch your back...and the ceilings.
I think patience is the key. It's not usually a good idea just to storm into a room shooting without a clue of what's around you. Last point, ninja boxes should be your first priority. Get rid of them, and there will be much less of a swarm coming at you at once.

Also, this video I found might also help you. Skip to about 1:50; It gives you a skill point, and a much better gun. (it only has 500 ammo, so use it wisely).
